MAGIC DIETS AND PILLS:

IN MY OPINION:
This is the billion-dollar business that has them all on the band wagon! I get, at least, once a day; "Do you have anything to lose weight? I've heard about these new pills - you can lose 40 pounds - no exercise, just melts away the fat!" "BURNS FAT, INCREASES METABOLIC RATES, LOSE INCHES!" Folks when we speak of thermogenesis (the creation of heat) there are but three kinds.
1. Work-induced from exercise.
2. Thermo-regulatory: This is involved with keeping the human body temperature regulated.
3. Diet-induced thermogenesis is the one we think about most, and it is related to the brown fat tissue.
It cannot be stressed enough - READ THE LABELS!!!
It will always go something like this: "This combination of effective ingredients used, as part of a healthy low-fat diet and exercise program, will help boost your energy and take off the pounds." My famous retort to the ones looking for the magic pill is, simply, every day - go out to the street or road - walk down a mile - and back, and by the end of three weeks you will have more energy, shave off pounds, and feel like a new person. Now if you are involved in a regular exercise program and have reached a 'wall', then there are a few things that work to help you get more out of your workouts and exercise.
