SCREEN SHOT OF LINKIT.EXE

UPGRADE: NEW VS OLD FIRMWARE IN LINK 10!! Linkit was made to read the data stream from a Link-10, E-meter, or Your meter (with rs232 option) and display it in a screen form. Linkit saves your data in file form at 15 sec or 1 minute intervals (set by F5 toggle). Data dumps of those intervals are performed each half hour. It places the data to the screen in real time every second. The Highest and Lowest for Amps and Volts reset each half hour after the filewrite. IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT THERE ARE OLD AND NEW VERSIONS OF FIRMWARE IN LINK 10... IT WAS VERY SUBTLE.. AN EXTRA ZERO IN THE AMPS READOUT FROM THE RS232! FROM 030.5 TO 0030.5 ! THIS WAS THROWING OFF THE SOFTWARE BY ONE DIGIT -- NOT GOOD.. I HAVE INCORPORATED THE USE OF F6 AND F7 TO SWITCH TO OLD OR NEW DATA STREAMS. Valid switches:
You will probably just use default of typing Linkit at the command prompt. If you just want to glance at it for monitor purposes shut off the filewrite by typing Linkit /M. The screen saver will always be active and can be gotten out of by hitting the space bar. Files look like so: DATE \ TIME
EL SEC**KWHS**AMPS**VOLTS**AMPHRS Read the manual on Battery Time and Bar Graph. It is also assumed you have read the meter manual to determine proper setups for your E-meter. Averages will be on the store rate and Highs and Lows are real time peaks. You might notice high instantaneous peaks when looking at wind generators. If you wish to make a Default File that holds if 1 minute or 15 second - leave program by using alt F11. otherwise use alt F10 to leave program in normal fashion. Remote sites may need the Default File to reboot with values in case of power fail. It was made to run in a dos window under 95 or 98 (have not tried other windows) and will run under Dos on all sorts of machines ( this was its true calling to use up all those old laptops and 386,486 clunkers!!) ALL USERS: DOWNLOAD... http://www.grassrootsonline.com/public/linkit.zip Let me know if it runs under win 2000, ME, etc......... Legal Matters:
